2021 Holiday Gift Guide for Low-Tox Living

Last year I published my first holiday gift guide for low-tox living and I got so much great feedback. This year, I’m expanding my holiday gift guide to include what I’ve been loving since 2020.

I don’t know about you, but I work hard to search for gifts I know my friends and family will love. I want them to feel valued and I want the gift to support their healthy lifestyle.

Holiday Gift Guide – Gifts Under $50

Stainless Steel Sheet Pans – This is a great option for someone who enjoys cooking. I use sheet pans for simple one pan meals by combining a protein with veggies. The higher lip helps keep the juices in. Most sheet pans are aluminum which will leach into your food. Stainless steel doesn’t have this issue.

Purity Coffee – This is my go to mold free and organic coffee. Coffee beans can easily be contaminated with mold and loaded with mycotoxins. This is because of the way they’re dried, processed and stored. Even if they’re roasted and no mold lives on them, the toxin that mold produces can still be present. Purity coffee tests their coffee for mycotoxins at every step of their process.

Maggies Organics Wool Socks – These holiday socks are so cute. Plus they’re made in the US with organic wool. I’m adding these to gifts this year because who doesn’t love warm feet especially here in the Pacific Northwest!

Zero Waste Starter Kit – This little starter kit is great for friends and family who want to start living a plastic free and zero waste lifestyle. Plastics contain chemicals that last for all eternity in the environment including hormone disruptors. Saying no is becoming easier especially with done for you kits by Package Free Shop. This kit has the most common items that tend to be single use. Use code BLACKFRIDAY for 40$ off!

Holiday Gift Guide – Gifts Under $100

Hatch Restore Wakeup Light – One way to wake your body gently is to use a wake light alarm. Hatch takes this one step further by allowing you to program a sleep cycle which can include sounds and meditation to help you get ready for sleep and ease your body into waking with light.  They also have a children’s light that has different relaxing sounds and can act as a night light. Use code GET30 to get $30 off the Hatch Restore.!

Microgreens Grow Kit – Microgreens are densely packed with nutrients and are easy to add to salads and smoothies. They’re also incredibly easy to grow, especially when you take the planning out of the process with a done for you kit.

Bodum Double Walled Coffee Press – I love french pressed coffee. You don’t need any wasteful filters for it and because there’s no tubing or hard to clean parts, there’s no chance for mold growth. Plus it’s so easy to use! This version is double walled so it helps keep your coffee warm. You can even bring it camping!

Holiday Gift Guide – Gifts under $500

Apollo Neuro – I’m so excited for this biohacking device to arrive. This wearable band (for wrist or ankle) helps your body to recover from stress so you can relax, sleep and focus better. Chronic stress is perhaps the most prevalent health crisis we face. This little wearable helps you move into a parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system state by sending small vibrations to your nervous system.

Oura Ring – I got one last Christmas and was so thrilled! Then I lost it on a trip to a lake. But that’s ok! Oura has just come out with an updated ring with more functionality and I can’t wait to try it. This is yet another bio-feedback device to add to your arsenal that can help guide your activity level and improve sleep. I used this ring to help me make better decisions to improve my sleep. You can see a theme can’t you? Sleep is so important to good health so anything to support sleep is something I’m a fan of.

Berkey Water Filter – Good clean water is something we all need. Berkey makes it easy by providing a stainless steel container with a block carbon filtration system (optional fluoride filter – a must!) in an easy to set up and low tech system. I use this for all drinking and cooking water in my home.

Epigenetic Hair Testing – Health is the biggest gift of all! This hair test has been a game changer for clients wanting to get a broad look at what’s impacting their health the most. I also have a new child’s test I’m excited to have launched earlier this year. This is the one test I offer in person here on Bainbridge Island, WA. To give this as a gift, just email me at info@jessicagreenwellness.com
