Is perimenopause/menopause just feeling life one big struggle for you?
You’re getting a lot of things right: You’re going to the gym. You’re eating healthy. You get out and socialize with friends. If your life was on a resume, you’d look like you’ve got it all figured out!
But… all the things that used to work for you in the past just aren’t working anymore. That trick you used in order to fit into your jeans (going on a run or skipping breakfast) doesn’t work anymore. Catching up on sleep over the weekend doesn’t do anything for your dark under-eye circles now. You don’t even feel like socializing anymore. What is going on? You hardly recognize yourself. You’ve gone from friendly, loving super-woman to short-tempered and annoyed exhausted-woman.
You just feel like you’re a shadow of your former fabulous self and you’re kind of at a loss, reaching out in social media to see if anyone has a quick tip or trick to help you get over this hump. Googling and reading articles sharing a whole bunch of tips but holy smokes! You’re a busy woman, doing all the things sounds like a whole other job.
